Cap and gown pictures are ones you will keep forever. Why are these sessions important to schedule? There are two main things to think about.  Many schools have their seniors rent  their cap and gown. Students must return them immediately after the ceremony so there is no time for photos. Another problem is the timing of the ceremony. Before graduation starts students are nervous and on a tight timeline so they may not have time for many photos.  Once the ceremony is over it is often dark outside and pictures are difficult.
